Indeed Bj, you will be wrong with anyone you pick to be ousted tonight... it's a recap show. Boyd, if there was ever a night to watch, this would be it.

I hate to share this with everyone, but I have not seen a single episode of Survivor this season. I know. What has become of me? It's all I can do to keep up with my favorite group of Friends and their escapades. (Besides, the sneaky hot guy is gone!)

i, too, am imelda. Eric and I continue to have the same profile (if only he knew more about Riley, he'd be gonorrhea too).

three little minions have lost their mittens, and they began to cry
imelda, dear, we greatly fear our mittens we have lost....

wait, that doesn't rhyme. sorta like some of the gender-neutral hymns at church (Have and save? don't think so).

but i digress. and ramble. part of my charm. can you tell my workweek is almost over? and i just got a surprise phone call from girls i knew in texas who are in town. fun for al.

as you were.

Imelda Marcos: You decide. (Well, maybe if I count Dan's shoe collection....)

i know we don't all love these things, but what criminal would you be?

i received a slight promotion from gonorrhea, tho, as usual, i'm a big ol' woman criminal.

discuss and reveal, minions.

Hmmm... we're not having an office party this year. Of course, we're not even having an office.

assuming we're having a white wolf friday ... but here's some inside info: the egyptian woman will NOT be the entertainment. lo and behold, a co-worker of mine will be at the mike. just wanted everyone to have their hopes in check. there's talk of an office group going as well. two worlds collide. aaaaaiiiiieeeee.

Let's see...
Thursday: Went to friends' for dinner, which started promptly at 1:00 Gay Standard Time (2:00). Walked around their neighborhood, snacked, then went to Mannequins to try & dance off some calories.
Friday: Did I do anything Friday? I don't recall. Well, I went to the gym. And didn't eat much.
Saturday: Did some shopping now that the insanity of Friday is past. And went to the gym. And blogged about the gym, then later deleted it thinking it "wasn't quite me" to write what I did. And watched Chocolat.
Sunday: Went to church. Had a turkey sandwich for lunch (at Boston Market, 'cuz we didn't make turkey ourselves.). Put up decorations in the house.
Monday: Found out I will be working at Team Disney, starting sometime within the week.

That about sums it up...

now the truth can be told: i am gonorrhea. (the site helpfully points out the good news: it can be cured). don't hate me because i'm curable. still, i don't think i'll be adding this to any personal ads.

Dewayne, that may be the oddest online generator I've ever seen.

Rabies? I hardly think so. But I was one Riley away from something far less socially mentionable.

ok. this is weird. and irresistible.

share (well, not literally).

I'm in.

i am up for wednesday wolfing ... tho i fear we may have to provide our own live music. in honor of thanksgiving, i'm going to order something different this week. yes, i am.

in case someone's taking a head count, i will be WWCing tonight.

This might as well be called "Brian's Weekend of a Thousand Really Expensive Dinners." I attended the Mid-Florida Business Hall of Fame Awards Banquet for Junior Achievement last night. Tonight is an event called "Tails and Tails" benefitting Canine Companions, held at SeaWorld (so I won't be attending the BOBB dinner). And since no one seems to 'blog here over the weekend... I'm attending the Florida Hospital's Golden Gala on Sunday... featuring the talents of Mr. John Tesh. Quite the socialite I am. Next Friday appears open however. Will anyone be in town?

Alas, the blogspot server had an Apache "Internal Server Error" this evening, and I was unable to post my prediction for who would be ousted from Survivor. Shucks. I didn't think of whether the 'blog interface itself was working until now. In any case, I had picked Lindsey to be the next to walk. It was actually pretty obvious it was going to happen, which I'd hope Bj would agree (even though she seems to hate Brandon).

Interesting... my uncle was a Beaver (as in Oregon State University), so of course, my father was a Duck (as in University of Oregon). My personal mascot heritage is less auspicious: the Bearcat.

Wednesday, November 14, 2001

apparently, i am a beaver. no surprise: my parents are both alumni of beaver dam high school. yes, they were beaver dam beavers. dad was valedictorian and mom was salutatorian of their class, so i come from Grade A beaver stock. the site says i should be a judge or jimmy carter. (the other "choice" was dog, but i choose not to share species with kato kaelin.)

I come across as a bat. Who knew?

Monday, November 12, 2001

Actually, Daniel, I think I only had you beat by a matter of hours.... but that's no minor feat considering my lack of real cable TV.

Sunday, November 11, 2001

Sweetie, Darling..."Ab Fab" is back! I'm probably the last person on the planet to know this...but for those of you who haven't heard, six new episodes of Absolutely Fabulous have been produced and are airing on Comedy Central starting Monday, November 12th at 9PM EST. I'm giddy with delight!

I am intending on attending (that has a nice ring to it) the White Wolf gathering. That is, if I don't fall asleep before it is to occur.

Ok, get this: J.B.'s farewell luncheon today had more BOBB members than tonight's BOBB gathering will. There was even a Boyd sighting!

(gasp) Oh, NO! (Now, just watch, TONIGHT will be Ms. Egyptian-song-chick's night.)

alas, i will not be able to attend tonight's white wolf gathering .... which is a shame since i've already pressed my capri pants.

Difficult this week, but I believe it will be the one who was born August 31.

Is it dinner time yet?

Unfortunately, mine was right on. Odd, considering that the first question, "What year was your most embarassing moment?", was a total and complete guess. I have blocked such moments from memory.

So last night, I'm thinking, "Better late than never." And then I can't get Blogger to load. So, even later than before:

Hawaiian Name: Elike Pakelikonu
Pokename: Vultung (who, oddly enough, has a fearof Dr. Pepper, and lives in the valleys of Austraila)
Smurf name: Man-Eating Smurf (and we are so not going there this morning)
Mobster name: "No Luck" Patterson

Go figure.

hold your phones -- this just in: i'm back among the verizon living.

if you'd like to be included in my new phone book, send me your numbers: home, office, mobile (as we verizoners say). i have hours of re-inputting to do. sigh. i'm quite the disgruntled smurf today.

or you can try txt msging again. knock yourself (and my hip) out.

Tuesday, November 06, 2001

smurf name: disgruntled smurf -- actually, i'm quite gruntled.

mob name: hammerhead. ok.

hawaiian name: kewaine pewile. find THAT on a keychain.

pokemon name: clefu. ironically, clefu lives in hawaii with kewaine. oddly, clefu has a diet of dr pepper but can swin in mr pibb. oh, and i can throw "Hot Death," which is actually my male stripper name.

I might draw to your attention that, although subtle, Instant Mashed Potatoes has been updated twice in the past 23 days, and don't forget about the random number on the top of the page... you have to visit hundreds of times before you'll see the same thing twice. Hehe. Those who know Brian MD, know that I'm always up to something. Stay tuned. Instant Mashed Potatoes is far from dead.

Oh, Palaina Mikala Kemikowikeke, Voltmon, Heterosexual Smurf, and "Smoking Brian M." Demkowicz. While I'm typically not impressed with name generators, I was especially let down by the Mobster thing. But, hey, I played, and that's all that matters.

Personally, I like being able to use www.midafternoonsnack.com. I wouldn't suggest any action be taken which could result in an opposite (if not equal) reaction.

Is Bj singin' in Tales of Hoffmann, The Barber of Seville, La Bohème, or Porgy & Bess with Orlando Opera this year?

I've learned it is best not to question fate in such matters.

Sunday, November 04, 2001

And let's hear it for Sunday 'bloggin' too.

Saturday, November 03, 2001

Saturday blogging? Almost unheard of in these parts.
Dewayne, I'm almost paranoid now that I violated some karmic law in getting the same phone as you & Daniel. If you replace yours with the same model, may I recommed Daniel hold tight to his....

I cast my vote for IOA or GUF. I'll keep my Enzian comments to myself this time around. You can all thank me later.

so i activated my old phone. and to my surprise it receives text messages. sorta. for instance, at 7:30 a.m., i received bj's msg from yesterday afternoon. must ... return ... to ... 21st ... century.

next weekend is a bit iffy for me. i have parentals rolling into town at some point. but i have thursday and sunday off so surely i can juggle.

Der Plan der Nacht

6:00 Meet at Wolfgang Puck Express, DOWNTOWN DISNEY West Side.
7:00 Get in line for movie, AMC-24 Pleasure Island.
7:50 Watch the trailer for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones... then the feature.

Sound good?

Sorry for my cryptic post earlier Thursday night. I had to be to Metrowest for my Survivor viewing and didn't have enough time to make it to the DNA generator. Let the record reflect another proper prediction for me: Lord I'd never divulge all... you get the idea. I'll let Eric figure the percentage of correct predictions since he couldn't care less about the game. I've only guessed on three episodes (didn't try to stay up on it during the cruise). Come on Bj, let's play.

Thursday, November 01, 2001

does anybody really know what time it is? dinner, i mean.

J.B., you may want to go as soon as the box office opens tomorrow. When I picked up tickets around 3, the guy said the 7:50 show was already more than 1/2 sold through. And he recommended people wanting to sit together get there "early."

Lord, I'd never divulge all that information. I know you don't know what I'm talking about. I'll explain myself shortly.

Dewayne: The ever-resourceful Mr. Petree advises that the Information Kiosk on West Side (right by the theatre) can sell you an annual pass.

While we're on a movie (and food) theme... I went to see 13 Ghosts last night at the Loews Universal Cineplex last night. The near perfect picture quality and audio in theater 19 were not enough to make this film worth seeing. It's amazingly bad. Oh, food... I said I would talk about food. I had a banana Icee (in a souvenir sipper). Delicious.

Why is it that the Loews Universal Cineplex is showing Monsters, Inc. 23 times tomorrow, while the AMC Pleasure Island 24 with more, but smaller, theaters is showing it only 20? Not that it's a big deal, but one would think that the Disney theater would squeeze every dollar it could out of this flick.

also: do any of y'all know if i can buy an disney annual pass somewhere at downtown disney? i'm about to take the plunge so as to get two SuperSoap Weekends for the price of 1.

So, by Bj's count, there are 5 participants tomorrow: Myself, Dan (the unBlogged), Daniel, Bj, and Dewayne. Any others? I'll be going to get tix today so we don't have to worry about it tomorrow.

as always, i'm flexi. just send me a sign.
